School Multi Trip Option Letter

You are receiving this message as part of the schools message group from Herts Police and follows on from the message shared yesterday - 

The Knife Angel sculpture is coming to Welwyn Garden City town centre between 1st-30th October 2025.  We can offer the below options to Hertfordshire schools -

1 Self arranged school trip to The Knife Angel – Schools can arrange their own school trip without booking in advance if they wish to come and see The Knife Angel, there will be police presence all day so officers can engage at any time with school children between 2nd and 30th October 2025.

2 Funded Anti Violence Theatre Production and Visit to The Knife Angel – Limited spaces available to Year 7+, places can be booked here for the following dates, 14th October, 16th October and 20th October (920 places per day) –

3 Funded Alison COPE Anti Violence Campaigner School Talks – We are able to offer schools the opportunity to have Alison COPE visit their school and deliver 4 school talks per day, this is suitable for Year 7+.  We have limited availability for this offer, we also need to ensure we have a fair geographical spread across Hertfordshire.  If you are interested in booking and can accommodate 4 talks (of assembly size) then please email – Helen.Croughton@Herts.police.uk to register your interest. Dates available are 9th October, 16th October and 17th October.

4 Funded Anti Violence Theatre Production to visit schools – We are able to offer the Theatre Company to visit schools that are unable to get to The Knife Angel, suitable for Year 7+.  We are running a morning session (can accommodate 2 performances, assembly sized) and an afternoon session (can accommodate 1 performance, assembly sized). We have limited availability for this offer and we also need to ensure we have a fair geographical spread across Hertfordshire, please email Helen.Croughton@herts.police.uk to register your interest. Dates available are 9th October, 10th October, 13th October, 15th October, 17th October, 21st October and 22nd October.
